Christmas in the Village - December 1

We had our very first joint booth at Fair Oaks' annual "Christmas in the Village" event. It was a wee bit blustery but fun to meet new folks and talk stamping and scrapping! Check out the terrific sign Cathy made!

We sold pccket photo albums made out of coasters (cool!), candy treat containers, gift card holders, embellished memo pads and loads of cards!

Our very first event!

Wow, our Holiday Create-A-Stack was a huge success! We had a full house of seasoned stampers and crafters who hit the floor running and created 30 holiday cards out of only 1/2 of a Simply Scrappin' Kit. Amazing and oh so fun!

April Class Date Updated

If you referred to the list of classes below any time before today (9/27) please note that the April class is changed to April 16.

Save the date for our future classes

Dates have been set for classes through May. The fine-tuned description of each class will be forthcoming. For now, however, we've included a short, general notation as to what we'll be focussing on. So, right now, step away from the computer, get a super permanent pen and your calendar and chisel these in stone:

Wednesday, December 12 from 7-9 PM: Coaster Accordian Album

Saturday, January 19 from 9-11 AM: Techniques Class - Watercoloring

Thursday, February 7 from 7-9 PM: Something related to the Sell-A-Bration promotion that will be going on then and/or a 6x6 scrapbook

Saturday, March 8 from 9-11 AM: Something chipboardy (no that is not a word)

Wednesday, April 16 from 7-9 PM: Techniques - Punches

Saturday, May 3 from 9-11 AM: One Sheet Wonder

I'm sure you noticed that we alternated a weekend morning and a mid-week evening to mix it up and have options for all sorts of schedules.

The venue may or may not be the same as the October 5 class. We are looking for a cost-free venue in the Carmichael - Fair Oaks - Citrus Heights - Gold River - Rancho Cordova area. If you know of one, please let us know.

A class list with a narrative description of each class will be prepared soon. Stay tuned!

Welcome to our own little blog! This blog was created by the two SAC Stampin' Gals, Stella MacKay and Cathy Williams. It is our vehicle to talk about our classes, upcoming events and anything else we can think of!

Our very first event as a team is our "Holiday Create-A-Stack" which will be held Friday, October 5 from 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM at the Sunrise Rec Center, 7801 Auburn Blvd in Citrus Heights. At this event, we'll be creating the 30 gorgeous cards below using Stampin' Up!s Winter Bright Simply Scrappin' Kit. The class fee is $35. Where else can you get beautiful cards for just over $1 per card!!! You must register by September 20 so please email telling us that you'd like to attend and we'll forward payment details: SACStampinGals@gmail.com. The class size is limited so register early!
